Our Team of Experts

Key previously worked as a private equity and M&A attorney at Kirkland and Ellis LLP (2019-2021) and Vinson and Elkins L.L.P. (2016-2019).  He graduated from UT Law in 2016, where he served as the Administrative Editor for the Texas Law Review (raising more money than any previous Administrative Editor during his tenure) and managed the Texas Law Review's finances, threw all the parties, and maintained the relationships between law firms and the Texas Law Review.  It was there he found his passion for recruiting after having placed his first associate as a law student.  Key prides himself for his investment in his colleagues, friendships, and family--there is no greater joy for him than cultivating those relationships.  If only Key had spent more hours billing instead of recruiting, maybe he'd have made equity partner.
